Elizabeth Gregory

Professor of English and Director of Women's Gender & Sexuality Studies, University of Houston

Elizabeth Gregory directs the Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Houston and teaches in the English Department. She is the author of Ready: Why Women Are Embracing the New Later Motherhood (Basic Books, 2007/2012).

Her current projects explore the dynamics of contemporary birth timing, the economics and politics of women’s work - in the home and outside it, and the later poetry of Marianne Moore.
