Since 2007 Elizabeth has been based at the Institute of Geography in the School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh. She is a health geographer and her research focusses on the spatial determinants of health and health-related behaviours. She is interested in how the environments in which we live, work and play can influence our health, for better or for worse.
She works collaboratively with colleagues at the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, as part of the Centre for Research on Environment, Society and Health (CRESH).
