Emily Grijalva is an assistant professor of organization and human resources in the University at Buffalo School of Management. Her research focuses on leadership, gender issues, and how narcissism impacts the workplace. Dr. Grijalva’s work has been published in top management and psychology journals, such as Personnel Psychology, the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Perspectives, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Psychological Bulletin. Her work has also won several awards, including the 2014-15 Visibility and Impact Award from the UB School of Management, as well as awards from the Network of Leadership Scholars and the Center for Creative Leadership and International Leadership Association. She also serves on the editorial board for Personnel Psychology. Dr. Grijalva received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
