Emily M. Lund, PhD, CRC, is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education and Rehabilitation Counseling in the department of Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology, and Counseling at the University of Alabama. She holds a PhD in rehabilitation counseling from Utah State University, a masters degree in educational psychology from Texas A&M University, and bachelors degrees in psychology and social work from the University of Montana. Dr. Lund has published and presented extensively on interpersonal violence, suicide, and self-injury in people with disabilities and currently has over 65 peer-reviewed publications. She is a person with a physical disability.
