Erdoan A. Shipoli has a PhD in Political Science and International Relations and is a visiting researcher at the ACMCU in the E. Walsh School of Foreign Affairs, Georgetown University. His recent book, published by Palgrave Macmillan, “Islam, Securitization, and US Foreign Policy” focuses on Islam in US foreign policy and security, emphasizing on democracy promotion, how Islam became a security issue for the US, and the consequences. He published another book on the “International Securitization: the case of Kosovo”, and countless articles and conference papers on the topic.
Erdoan is fluent in: Albanian, English, Bulgarian, Turkish, and Serbo-Croatian.
