Ph.D Student in Experimental Psychology, University of Texas Arlington

I am a Ph.D student, graduate teaching assistant, and researcher in experimental psychology at the University of Texas (UT) at Arlington, specializing in social psychology and statistics. My research interests include examining close friendships, initial interactions, evolutionary psychology, and consumer behavior. I am currently leading a program of research on diversity in close friendships - specifically, I am interested in exploring the friendships between gay and straight individuals. Additionally, I am working in collaboration with researchers at UT Austin and Bilkent University in Turkey on a research program examining evolved standards of attractiveness.
