Assistant Professor of Information, University of Michigan

Gabriela Marcu studies how technology can support coordination of care, especially for those who are most vulnerable. She has focused on how the social and emotional wellbeing of children is supported by their carers and the special education system. She holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, and was an Assistant Professor at Drexel University's College of Computing and Informatics prior to joining the University of Michigan School of Information.
