My research interests are mainly in the areas of artificial intelligence and optimization. These include machine learning, reinforcement learning, statistical methods, data mining, algorithm design and analysis, optimization algorithms and computational game theory. In particular, I am interested in extracting the underlying structure in large datasets in order to better understand human behaviour, communication and decision-making.
