Georgia’s research interests and expertise lie in the interface of Developmental Neuroscience and Developmental Psychopathology. In particular, Georgia’s research aims to understand the electrophysiological markers of emotion and reward processing in children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders with a special focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions.
A related focus of Georgia’s research is the neural basis of vocal emotion processing in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Georgia works with a number of international partners on the developmental neuroscience of emotion and motivation toward the common mission of increasing resilience and well-being in children and adolescents with mental health problems.
