Artist in Residence, Department of Physics, Imperial College London

I am an artist with a training in physics and since early 2011 have had a residency project called Finding Patterns at the Physics Department of Imperial College London. Finding Patterns is about Nature, the adventure of discovery and how we can express what we know in new ways to reach more minds.

I am the fortunate recipient of two Arts Council Awards and the Leverhulme Trust Artist in Residence Award. Notable exhibitions include 'Beyond Ourselves' at the Royal Society in London and the MK Fringe National Painting Prize where I exhibited as a finalist selected by the artist Phoebe Unwin and the late Michael Stanley, Turner Prize judge. Most recently, I am delighted to have had two films selected for the 2013 Imagine Science Film Festival in New York.

This last year, I have taken to the streets of London with a giant billboard campaign and a solar powered pop-up cinema and am currently evolving new talks that share with everyone the experience of discovery and some of the beautiful things we know through art.
