Gerard McCarthy

I am an observational Physical Oceanographer, making unique measurements of the ocean's overturning circulation in the North Atlantic. Of particular interest to me is the impact of the overturning circulation on climate and weather. I am also interested in salinity changes in the global ocean related to the hydrological cycle and sea level change associated with ocean circulation.
