Investigador Distinguido del Programa Beatriz Galindo, Palaeoclimatology Lab, Centro de Investigación Mariña, Universidade de Vigo

I joined the Research School of Earth Sciences of the Australian National University in September 2013 after spending five years as postdoctoral researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). Before, I completed a PhD in Paleoceanography at Utrecht University (The Netherlands).

Research interests:
Climate variability on orbital and sub-orbital (centennial to millennial) timescales, climate sensitivity, marine carbonate system and global carbon cycle dynamics during the Quaternary using trace element (Mg/Ca, Ba/Ca, B/Ca, Cd/Ca) and stable isotope (δ18O, δ13C, δ11B) foraminiferal geochemistry.
