Gillian Ray-Barruel

Gillian Ray-Barruel, RN, PhD is a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Dr Ray-Barruel has experience in quantitative and qualitative nursing research, critical care nursing, patient assessment, and project management. Gillian's research focuses on improving assessment and decision-making by nurses to prevent patient complications and improve patient safety and healthcare outcomes. She is the creator of the I-DECIDED device assessment and decision tool, which is now being used in many hospitals worldwide.
