In June 2010 I graduated from the University of Westminster with an Upper Second Class (Honours) in Biotechnology. I was selected for a MSc in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at University College London in order to expand my knowledge in biomaterials and tissue engineering. I found my postgraduate studies at UCL stimulating and challenging. I have felt extremely attracted to the subject and more determined to develop my research skills and to apply for a PhD position. I have gained some practical research experience during my MSc research project at the Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust (RAFT, Mount Vernon Hospital, London).
I am currently a final year PhD student at The University of Sheffield, Department of Material Science, under the supervision of Prof. Macneil. My PhD is about Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
