Giuseppe Cioffo

Giuseppe is Programme and Policy Officer for the European Network for Central Africa (EurAc),in charge of research and advocacy on issues of natural resources in the DRC, Burundi and Rwanda.

Giuseppe is also completing a PhD at the Université Catholique de Louvain. His doctoral research focuses on Green Revolution models, and on the implications that such models have for class formation in agriculture-dependent countries, but also on the underlying contradictions between the search for 'environmental sustainability' and the practices of industrial, capital-intensive, 'modern agriculture'.
