Guy Castley is an Associate Professor within the Center for Planetary Health and Food Security and School of Environment and Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Australia. An overarching focus of Guy’s research and outreach activities focus on the transdisciplinary nature of contemporary conservation practice, drawing extensively upon his conservation biology and park / wildlife management background. His projects explore the interactions between species and their socio-ecological environment. Research interests include projects assessing threatened species and their conservation, linkages between tourism and conservation, landscape and urban ecology and long-term biodiversity monitoring.
