Research Fellow in Amospheric Science, University of Leeds

Hamish Gordon's main research interests lie in using data from experiments at CLOUD to improve global modelling of atmospheric particle formation and growth. This involves the use and development of the GLOMAP aerosol model (link is external) in collaboration with researchers at the University of Leeds and CERN.

In addition, he participates in the operation and management of the CLOUD experimental facility, and is developing techniques to image clouds in the chamber using CCD cameras.

Before joining the CLOUD project he completed a D.Phil in particle physics (link is external)at Oxford University with data from the LHCb experiment .
