Hayden Homer

Hayden Homer is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, Institute for Women's Health, UCL.

The Homer Group sits within the Laboratory for Mammalian Oocyte and Embryo Research, a cross-faculty strategic initiative designed to bring together expertise in oocyte and embryo biology at UCL.

The Laboratory comprises basic scientists (Greg FitzHarris, CDB, and John Carroll, CDB) and Hayden Homer, a clinician scientist (IfWH). The group uses multiple experimental approaches, including gene silencing, over-expression, real time fluorescence imaging, and transgenics, to dissect the molecular pathways underpinning oocyte growth and maturation.
