I've been teaching in the discipline of Literary Studies at UWS/WSU since 2005. My primary research focus is poetry, which manifests into two forms: creative and scholarly. My core field of scholarly research is nineteenth-century women’s poetry, especially the works of the American poet, Emily Dickinson, and her cultural milieu. My creative research functions in tandem with my research on Dickinson, drawing heavily on the personal and cultural happenings of the moment in two societies: Australia and Greece.
