-Environmental and natural resource sociology
-Environmental and energy policy
-Social movements, contentious politics
-Public participation in energy and environmental decision-making
Her current projects are regarding:
-Public perceptions of energy development
-Public perceptions of extreme weather events
-Interventions designed to encourage household energy conservation
