Holly is a Lecturer in Organisation Studies. She has previously worked at The University of Warwick and Scottish Power Plc. Holly has taught Organisation Studies, Organisational Behaviours, Organisation Management, Organisation Theory and HRM at undergraduate and post graduate levels and conducts research in the fields of careers, work transitions, Inclusion and social mobility, identity, social enterprise and retirement.

Holly joined the University of Birmingham in 2013 as a lecturer in Organisational Behaviour. Prior to this she worked at Warwick University Business School. Her early career was spent in the private sector in various strategic HR roles where her responsibilities included culture management, labour relations, mergers and aquisitions, performance management and management and leadership development. Holly’s research has focused on career transitions, particularly as they relate to social mobility and the effect of career transitions upon individual identity. She has had research published in the areas of retirement, downshifting and social mobility and inclusion. Her current research focuses on the use of Shared Parental Leave as a driver for gender equality in the workplace.
