Neuropsychology PhD Candidate, University of the Sunshine Coast

Holly Warland, Bach. Soc. Sci. (Psych.) (Hons.), is completing her PhD in Neuropsychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast, specialising in emotions,facial expression recognition and autism spectrum disorder.

Her past research includes examining ASD and typically developing adults and their ability to read facial expressions using only the eyes. Theory of mind and deception detection skills were also tested.

She has presented her research at various events and conferences, and in radio interviews around Australia.
