Ian Fillis

Before entering the world of marketing I studied for a BSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Glasgow. I then gained an MA in Marketing from the University of Ulster and a PhD on the Internationalisation Process of the Smaller Firm from the University of Stirling.

I came to Stirling in 1995 to commence my doctoral studies and have latterly been a teaching assistant and lecturer. I was appointed as a senior lecturer in 2005. I am currently the Research Co-ordinator for the Marketing and Retail Division.

I teach on a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses including Introduction to Marketing, International and Export Marketing, Small Business Marketing and Creative Database and Direct Marketing.
