Igor Vojnovic is professor in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Spatial Sciences at Michigan State University, with cross-appointments in the School of Planning, Design, and Construction and the Global Urban Studies Program. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Urban Affairs. His main area of research focuses on urban (re)development processes and the study of resulting social, physical and environmental impacts. His articles have appeared in journals such as Urban Studies, Environment and Planning A, Environment and Planning B: Planning and Design, Urban Affairs Review, Journal of Urban Affairs, Urban Geography, Journal of Urban Design, Health & Place, Cities, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment and Ecological Economics.
