I was awarded a PhD degree in Economics by the University of Portsmouth for my thesis entitled: 'Essays on macroeconometric modelling: Housing and financial markets in the light of inflation targetting monetary policy. Evidence from the United Kingdom'. I hold an MSc. in Financial Analysis (University of Piraeus, Greece, Department of Banking and Financial Management), an MBA (University of Piraeus, Greece, Department of Business Administration), as well as, a BSc. in Economics and Regional Development (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens, Greece).
I am a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE), as well as, a member of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network (EABCN).
I have previously worked as a business consultant for Citibank plc. in Greece.
