Irwan Martua Hidayana

Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, Universitas Indonesia

Irwan Martua Hidayana is an associate professor at Department of Anthropology and senior researcher at Center for Gender and Sexuality Studies, University of Indonesia.

His research interests are HIV and AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexual diversity and pharmaceuticals in Indonesia and Southeast Asia more generally.

Some publications include: Preventing mother-to-child transmission in Vietnam and Indonesia (co-author; 2009, Social Science and Medicine vol.69); Culture and International Imagination in Southeast Asia (co-author; 2007,Political Geography vol. 26).
