I have both an academic and professional background in health communication and international public relations. My current research studies the role of the visually grotesque in public communication campaigns, including public health, political communication, and environmental activism. I am particularly interested in healthcare policies and intercultural communication in Latin America, where I have developed research-action projects to enhance the advocacy capabilities of non-governmental organizations.
