Isabel Béjar Alonso

HL-LHC Configuration, Quality & Sourcing Officer, CERN

(F) received a Master of Management of Technology from EPFL Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2001 and a MSc. in physics from the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 1995. At CERN since 1996, Ms. Bejar Alonso is today the Configuration, Quality and Sourcing officer of the High-Luminosity LHC project. Isabel has been involved in CERN’s scientific activities as researcher, quality manager and group leader. She has also been advisor to the CERN Director General . Her primary interests are the coordination of large-scale, international technology and science projects and the involvement of the educational sector and innovative industry in such activities. Specifically, Ms. Bejar Alonso built-up and carries out the relations with industry in view of promoting high-tech developments that needed for research facilities and which can be exploited for the benefits of society.
