Ivana's group utilise theoretical and experimental approaches to answer fundamental questions in evolutionary biology. By developing novel modelling approaches that bring together cellular, molecular, genetic levels systems biology into a population level framework they strive to bridge the gap between laboratory experiments and the real world. They also closely collaborate with microbiologists and experimental evolutionary biologists from all over the world.
