Ivor Shapiro

Ivor Shapiro, who studies issues related to press freedom and journalists’ practice, is the author of The Disputed Freedoms of a Disrupted Press (Routledge, July 2023). He is a former chair of the School of Journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University, chair of the ethics advisory committee of the Canadian Association of Journalism, and founding editor of J-Source.ca.
