Dr Jackie King is an experienced social science researcher who has worked extensively with tertiary institutions, government and non-profit organisations on social and criminal justice projects.

Jackie runs her own research consultancy, JDK Research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from Monash University. Her Phd (Political Science, Monash University) is on the role of Not for Profits in the refugee policy process. She also has a Certificate of Not for Profit Governance from Chartered Secretaries Australia.

Jackie has taught widely and written numerous articles for international and Australian journals. She is currently an Advisory Board Member of Kids in Philanthropy (Melbourne) and Jewish Aid Australia.
