I'm a sound-obsessed Neuroscience PhD student at Oxford University. My research involves using electrophysiological and optogenetic techniques in order to investigate the biophysical basis of cortical computations, particularly in auditory cortex. I blog for Neurobabble.co.uk and you can find more of my science communication work at NeuralNoises.com
