James Zois

Dr Zois is a lecturer in the Sport Coaching degree specialising in applied physiology, strength and conditioning, talent identification and research, knowledge and expertise. Previously Dr. Zois has also taught in exercise prescription and sport physiology units.

Dr. Zois has an long history in the applied sports sciences, working as an elite Strength and Conditioning coach and manager of Sate Physical Preparation programs, as well as a high level tennis coach and talent identification expert.

Dr. Zois’ current research interests include: applied solutions for athlete development and performance, talent identification, strength and conditioning, functional human anatomy, warm-up protocols for improvement competitive performance and coach development. He has presented findings at various international conferences, published in A ranked journals, and is an invited reviewer on multiple peer-reviewed journals.
