Jason Alexandra is a consultant in natural resource management and sustainability science who has worked in a wide range of roles over 30 years, most recently as Director of Ecosystem Management for the Murray Darling Basin Authority. He was previously CEO of the Earthwatch Institute, a Director of Land & Water Australia and a policy analyst for the Australian Conservation Foundation. Jason is undertaking a Phd on water governance and climate change in the MDB. Jason's deep interest in how we can live well in our flammable landscapes was sparked by the experience of having his house and business destroyed in the Ash Wednesday fires in Victoria in 1983.
