Quantitative Research Associate, Stanford University

I study how educators, and the power structures they occupy, influence engagement, punishment, and inequality. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Department of Sociology in August 2019. Currently, I am a research associate at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education. I seek to understand how institutional practices create unequal life chances by shaping individuals’ beliefs and actions.
