Jeannie D. DiClementi

Associate Professor of Psychology, Indiana University

Dr. Jeannie DiClementi has been a faculty member in the IPFW Psychology Department since 2001. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. Her research specialty is clinical health psychology and is a hospital-trained clinical psychologist. She held previous faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases and National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. She is the Principal Investigator of the campus suicide prevention program, the Director of the IPFW LGBTQ Resource Center, a member of the advisory committee for the LGBT certificate program. Her current research activities include psychological aspects of medical disease, LGBT health and wellness, and student-athlete's mental health. She is frequently called on by local broadcast media as an expert on mental health and illness.
