Jennifer Jamieson

Trauma Fellow & Emergency Physician, The National Trauma Research Institute

Dr Jennifer Jamieson is an emergency physician and current trauma fellow from Melbourne, Australia and has a passion for global health and emergency medicine. Besides clinical medicine, she has been involved in a number of global health organisations, including co-founding the Global Health Gateway and previously sitting on the board of the Global Ideas Forum.

During 2012, she worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) in northern Afghanistan at a trauma hospital. In 2015, she is undertook a medical education role at within the emergency department of Muhimbili National Hospital, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

She finished her specialty training in emergency medicine and completed her ACEM fellowship exam during 2017 at Alfred Health. Jennifer is the current Trauma Fellow at Alfred Health and the National Trauma Research Institute.
