A/Prof Jenny Ekberg, PhD, is a neurophysiologist at the Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University, at the Gold Coast campus, who leads a research team to determine how pathogens penetrate the brain and contribute to the onset of neurodegenerative diseases. She also leads a team developing cellular nerve bridges to repair nerve injuries including peripheral nerve injury and spinal cord injury.
