Interdisciplinary PhD Candidate, Marine Affairs Program, Dalhousie University

My research works at the intersection of science and policy, where I am interested in looking at the ways and tools to manage our seafood resources to preserve environmental integrity, promote economic growth, and maintain social endorsement.

In particular, I look at potential solutions to managing coastal aquaculture for holistic and sustainable decision-making. My current PhD research looks at the frameworks that link the environment with social systems for more environmentally responsible, socially acceptable and profitable salmon aquaculture in Atlantic Canada.
