Specialises in migration and mobility research in West Africa, with a primary interest in regional labour mobility between Burkina Faso and Côté d’Ivoire in wartime and post-conflict. Has co-edited a volume on “Violence in African Elections”, and co-written a chapter on the geographical distribution of violence around Burundi’s 2015 elections.
