Jill Vaughan is a postdoctoral researcher with the Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language and the Research Unit for Indigenous Language at the University of Melbourne. She works at the intersection of the fields of sociolinguistics and linguistic anthropology in both the Indigenous and migrant languages of Australia. She is currently conducting research on code-mixing and multilingualism in Maningrida, Arnhem Land.
