My research specialism is literature and culture of the long 19th century, particularly Romantic poetry and environmental history. My work explores how texts from this era engage with literary geographies and developments in ecological thinking. I am particularly interested in how digital techniques - particularly digital cartographies, including GIS and virtual globes - can facilitate the discussion, presentation and development of literary study.
