Associate Professor in Management, Concordia University Research Chair in Resilience & Institutions, Concordia University

My research lies at the intersection of organization theory and governance studies. I am interested in how different organizational models (e.g. social enterprises, business groups, project based organizations, foundation-owned businesses) differ in their responses to institutional demands. My research has been published in Organization Studies, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Theory and Society. It has also been the recipient of awards such as the 2014 Halloran Award in Business Ethics and the 2015 Syntec Prize. My dissertation, on the institutionalization and diffusion of urban sustainability, was the runner-up for the 2015 EDAMBA Best Dissertation award. I've also written a policy-making study on shareholder foundations in France.
