John Mohan

John is a Professor of Social Policy in the Department of Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology, and is currently Director of the Third Sector Research Centre. He has nearly ten years' experience running the third sector research centre, www.tsrc.ac.uk, the UK's principal academic research centre dedicated to independent research on and the construction of the evidence base for the voluntary, community, nonprofit and social enterprise sector. Principaly expertise is quantitative data analyses of trends in and the distribution of third sector organisations and their resources, plus analyses of volunteering and charitable giving.
