John Thomas Prabhakar

John Thomas Prabhakar is a lecturer of physical chemistry at Bangor University. His research is concerned with solid state chemistry including: synthesis and assembly of nanocrystals, charge transport in films of nanocrystals, interfacial phenomena and self-assembly. He is particularly interested in nanocrystalline.

Prior to joining Bangor University, John was an RCUK research fellow at
the University of Manchester and obtained his PhD from JNCASR, Bangalore. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
