Jony Eko Yulianto

PhD Candidate in Social Psychology, Massey University

Jony Eko Yulianto is a PhD Candidate at School of Psychology, Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand. Using a culturally informed community research, his PhD thesis investigates everyday inter-ethnic marriage in Indonesia. Apart from his role as a PhD researcher, Jony is also a lecturer at School of Psychology, Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, where he teaches Social Psychology and Qualitative Research Methodology.

Jony Eko Yulianto builds a collaborative alliance with Dicky Pelupessy (Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia) and Monica Eviandaru Madyaningrum (Faculty of Psychology, Sanata Dharma University) to produce pieces, research and praxis as a means of extending the capacity of the discipline of psychology in Indonesia to foster human potentials.
