Jorge García Molinos

Research Associate Climate Change Ecology, Scottish Association for Marine Science

I am broadly interested in studying the consequences of human induced environmental change, particularly as promoter of environmental variability, to natural communities, ecosystem functioning and the goods and services provided by them, and to incorporate this knowledge into prediction and management.

With this purpose, I make combined use of theoretical (modeling) and empirical (experimentation) approaches. Over recent years I have been involved in different projects related to subjects such as disturbance ecology, water resource management, habitat fragmentation and ecosystem restoration
