Dr. Joshua J. Dyck is Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at UMass Lowell, where he has been on faculty since 2012. Dr. Dyck studies American Politics, Elections, Public Opinion, Voting Behavior, State Politics and Policy. He is an expert on the politics of direct democracy and political polarization in the American electorate. His most recent book is The Power of Partisanship (2023, Oxford University Press, with Shanna Pearson-Merkowitz).
