Research Fellow in Public Health, University of Otago

Jude has 10 years research experience in public health and a background in critical psychology and health promotion. Her doctoral research explored the drivers of long term trends in adolescent risk behaviour, in particular smoking, cannabis use, binge drinking and sexual behaviour. She is interested in the impact of the changing social context on youth trends, and the inter-relationships between smoking and other risk behaviours in young people. She is a member of the ASPIRE2025 tobacco control research group, and New Zealand's Adolescent Health Research Group.
