Honorary Research Fellow, The University of Melbourne

Julian de Hoog received the B.Sc in Computer Science and Mathematics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and the M.Sc and PhD degrees (both in Computer Science) from the University of Oxford, UK.

He is currently a Research Staff Member at IBM Research Australia, as well as an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne.

He is currently working on a range of projects in energy storage, renewable generation, electric vehicles, and smart grid applications.
